We are seeking ESOL/Basic Skills Trainers in our North London Centres to deliver adult ESOL Skills for Life/Basic skills curriculum from Entry 1 to Level 2 and ESOL, Numeracy and ICT Trainers in our Swindon Centre to deliver adult ESOL Skills for Life/Numeracy and ICT curriculum from Entry 1 to Level 2. The main purpose of the role is to provide training and assessment to adults within the national curriculum in order for them to achieve a recognised qualification
Suitable candidates will need to have a minimum of a CELTA or similar Basic Skills qualification plus experience of teaching Basic skills and Skills for Life courses and must be working towards a full teaching qualification such as DTLLS or planning to do the course in a near future. Experience of exam preparation, especially the City and Guilds ESOL Skills for Life exams would be an advantage.
The positions are on fixed term contract, full day time and part time evening and weekends. Salaries are between £10-£12 depending on experience and qualifications. Working hours are from 9am-5pm for full day time and 6pm- 8:30 pm for part time evening.
